Helen Moore and I will be at Waterstones Bath on Thursday 21 May to celebrate the publication of our new books: Helen’s acclaimed poetry collection, ECOZOA, and my novel of prehistory, Deep Time. There will be introductions by Richard Kerridge, readings from the books, and a discussion of our interconnected ideas about evolutionary history and the vision of a sustainable future – plus question time, book signing, and liquid refreshments. Drinks served 6.30pm. Talks start 7pm. Free admission. Do come and join us if in you’re in range of Bath.
‘Anthony Nanson’s stirring novel takes the reader on an extraordinary journey deep into the prodigious heart of Africa and across evolutionary regions of time.’ Lindsay Clarke
‘In Deep Time, modern knowledge itself – ecological, psychological, and with a sense of an earth-history far longer than our own – is the landscape into which this massively ambitious story-telling leads you.’ Philip Gross
‘ECOZOA … is a milestone in the journey of ecopoetics.’ John Kinsella
‘Helen Moore’s poetry is the stuff of Deep Time … This is what poetry should be – beautiful, harrowing, celebratory, passionate, visionary – enabling the reader to experience Life more deeply.’ Maddy Harland
