Paul Matthews

Paul Matthews lives in Forest Row, Sussex. For many years he has taught creative writing and gymnastics at Emerson College. He also travels widely, speaking his poetry and encouraging others in the use of imagination through the interactive workshops that he offers. His inspirational books on the creative process – Words in Place (2007) and Sing Me the Creation (available from 2015 in a new and improved second edition) – are both published by Hawthorn Press. The Ground that Love Seeks (Five Seasons Press, 1996) and Slippery Characters (Five Seasons Press, 2011) are gatherings of his poetry.
