Environmental arts therapy and the Tree of Life guides us through the Celtic calendar to explore the relationship between the feeling experience of the human heart and the turning year. Practical, poetic, innovative and magical, it invites us to make environmental art and ritual a vital and healing part of our lives once again and teaches us how to take the personal issues that bind and oppress us out into Nature where they can be met, confronted and transformed.

THE SOUL OF THE EARTH An alchemist once claimed that there is more of the soul outside us than inside us, so what are the relations between the human imagination and the soul of the earth, does it have roots in the ecological unconscious, and wherein do the springs of creativity lie? Some thoughts from a novelist who lives with such questions but doesn't know the answers.
BIO: Lindsay Clarke is the award-winning author of The Chymical Wedding, Parzival and the Stone from Heaven, The Water Theatre and other novels. He is an associate of the Creative Writing Programme at Cardiff University, Creative Consultant to the Pushkin Trust in Northern Ireland, and has been Scholar-in-Residence at Schumacher College.
