| David Metcalfe Profile
David Metcalfe is a storyteller and folk singer-guitarist; also a lifelong student of history and former field archaeologist, with degrees from the universities of Aberystwyth and Newcastle upon Tyne, his many years’ work investigating how well publicly-funded organisations use their resources, he has co-authored numerous reports and publications and developed a particular interest in the way organisations formulate, articulate, and regenerate their corporate narratives. His haunting arrangements of British folk ballads are a popular contribution to story circles, as is his expert musical accompaniment and creative input to full-length professional shows with Fire Springs (including Arthur's Dream; Robin of the Wildwood; Return to Arcadia).
As a member of Fire Springs, David has contributed to the authoring of An Ecobardic Manifesto . David's music can be heard on Arthur's Dream double-cd by Fire Springs .
